I live in snowy Minnesota with the cat of my heart, Rey, who I named after the Star Wars character to annoy zealous fanboys. If I’m not writing, I’m probably indulging my imagination through ritual and art.
My current project, DEATH AND THE BLADE, takes a uniquely disabled spin on a centuries-old narrative through the lens of cyclical trauma, grief, and the pursuit of vitality. My nonfiction work has been featured in various media outlets, including Bionews and SMA My Way.
I can be found on Instagram, Threads, and TikTok. You can also subscribe to my newsletter, “Studies in Light,” a casual, biweekly publication on writing and thriving as a disabled creative.
Rumor has it I used to be a poet. This may or may not be true; however, I’m not available for questions at this time.
